One high school graduate shares her story as she goes from panic to prom ready and beyond!
“My name is Malinda, a 17-year-old high school senior with a desire to lose 20 lbs while toning up my legs and abs prior to prom. I’m aware of the danger women put themselves through for better bodies, so I did my research and found a safe prom-fitness program called O2 MAX that gave me an exercise and nutrition regimen.
I worked out at my house rigorously following Karen’s advice. I felt our communication become more than just a personal trainer teaching a client. It was personal, a friend giving another friend advice.
Prom week arrived and my determination was unbreakable. Although I faced studying for finals, I figured out different ways to workout within my schedule. Normally I would get dropped off to reach locations, but I wiped the dust off my bicycle and cycled everywhere. I managed to squeeze in hours of swimming and running on the treadmill.
I didn’t lose all the desired weight, however I’m so happy with my progress. I feel more energetic, euphoric and confident. I fit into my prom dress comfortably and am able to fit into old clothes as well. Prom is over now, but I plan on staying persistent with my diet and continuing the O2 MAX suggested workouts.”
